A journey  by Bus

Once I traveled by bus from Delhi to Jaipur. I reached the bus stand. I got a ticket. The bus started after half an hour at 6 p.m. It traveled at a good speed althought there was a lot of traffic although on the way.

The lorries, buses, cars, and other vehicles passed on the way. soon dusk fell. There was darkness everywhere. There were road lights near the towns. although, the bus stopped. There was some trouble with the engine.

It was very cold at night. There were about fifty passengers who were traveling with us. The driver came out of the bus. He took the help of another bus driver. They opened the engine and did some adjustments.

Fortunately, the bus started again. I reached Jaipur one hour late. There was no mishap on the way.

Traveled:-यात्रा की

Reached:-पहुँच गया

Got:-प्राप्त

Helf an hour:-आधा घंटा

Although:-हालांकि

lorries:-लॉरियों

Passed on way:-मार्ग से गुजरा

Soon dusk fell:-जल्द ही शाम ढल गई

Darkness:-अंधेरा

Trouble with the engine:-इंजन के साथ परेशानी

Came out of the bus:-बस से बाहर आया

Some adjustments:-कुछ समायोजन

Fortunatley:-भाग्यवश

Mishap on the way:-रास्ते में दुर्घटना
